The Management of COSTAS A. PAPAELLINAS HELLAS S.A. (CPO Greece) has chosen a clearly defined Quality and Environmental Policy as a means for its continuous development. Through this Policy, the Organization’s Management expresses its commitment to complying with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14001:2015, and Ministerial Decision ΔΥ8δ/Γ.Π.ΟΙΚ./1348:2004, to maintain the effectiveness of its Integrated Management System, to provide consistently high-quality products and services, and to operate effectively and in an environmentally friendly manner. The Organization also amends or supplements this Policy with the aim of continuous improvement.
By applying the Integrated Management System, and always in accordance with current legislation, the company’s Management has identified the threats and opportunities related to its proper, efficient, and environmentally friendly operation and commits to:
- Understanding the needs and expectations of its customers and all interested parties.
- Responding promptly to customer requirements and fulfilling the commitments and obligations of the company as defined in the relevant contracts.
- Achieving and ensuring the quality of its products and services at the level promised to customers and in regard to environmental protection policies, using the best available technology and solid expertise within the Organization’s financial capabilities.
- Storing and distributing its products according to applicable specifications, with emphasis on storage and safety conditions.
- Making its products available and providing services based on compliance with Legislative and Regulatory requirements as defined by National or Community Legislation.
- Informing its customers and planning improvements in quality and environmental matters based on feedback received from them.
- Ensuring continuous and thorough training and education of all personnel, so that they develop quality and environmental management awareness and gain specialization in their tasks.
- Making ongoing efforts to reduce customer complaints and non-compliant services.
- Protecting the environment and taking measures to prevent pollution.
- Communicating, informing, and making the Organization’s policy available to all interested parties.
- Systematically identifying the environmental aspects of its activities, products, and services that it can control and influence, along with their associated environmental impacts, based on a life cycle approach.
- Properly managing the waste resulting from its operations.
- Making rational use of natural and energy resources.
- Limiting the impact and adapting to climate change.
- Making every effort for the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the Management System with the participation of employees.
To achieve these objectives, the company’s Management provides the necessary resources for the smooth, efficient, and effective operation of the company and its System.
The applicable Integrated Management System is reviewed at regular intervals for its completeness and effectiveness, is amended when deemed necessary, and is communicated to personnel and interested parties.
