Create A (new) Planet
Protecting the environment is one of our main priorities. Costas A. Papaellinas (CPO Greece) ensures compliance with environmental legislation and national regulations, and our main concern is responsibly reducing our environmental footprint. At the same time, our certification according to ISO 14001: Environmental Management System validates the consistent integration and application of our environmental policies.
Environmental responsibility is one of the values of our corporate culture, and we strive to integrate it into the philosophy of our employees.
In 2020, with the contribution of our staff, we decided to include all our environmental actions, with staff participation, in a category called Create A New Planet (CAP).
Recycling
At Costas A. Papaellinas (CPO Greece), we strive to conserve natural resources by recycling cardboard, paper, batteries, vehicle and machinery batteries. We have recycling bins throughout our facilities and are gradually phasing out single-use plastics.
In 2021, we launched a campaign to educate employees on proper “Paper Management” called “Paper Detox”. This campaign aimed to raise awareness among employees about protecting the environment by reducing paper usage, exclusively using recyclable paper, minimizing color printing, and properly using recycling bins, making our people partners in the effort to reduce our environmental footprint.
Our Vehicle
Fleet
Costas A. Papaellinas (CPO Greece) replaced its entire company fleet with new hybrid technology vehicles. The new vehicles respect the environment with their low emissions and silent operation, contributing to reducing the greenhouse effect and moving towards a society with low carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

Energy
We ensure that the offices and facilities of Costas A. Papaellinas (CPO Greece) are environmentally friendly. Glass surfaces are used to take advantage of natural light, and LED lighting is installed to conserve energy.
Our packaging
At Costas A. Papaellinas (CPO Greece), we ensure that our products are transported in recyclable packaging, and we work with companies that produce environmentally friendly products.
